Adam Myerson began racing as a junior in 1987 at age 15 and was a professional for 13 years, racing his final pro season in 2015 at age 43. 9-time national champion (7 CX, 2 Road), 2-time Continental CX champion, and a Professional Road racer for 13 years. But for all that Adam has received from the sport of cycling, he has given back in many ways: He began coaching juniors for free as a way to give back to the sport in 1998, and founded Cycle-Smart in 1999, which is well known not only in New England but internationally as well. He is the organizer of the Northampton Cyclocross, former president of the New England Cyclocross Series, former at-large member on the USA Cycling Cyclocross Committee, former member of the UCI Cyclo-Cross Commission, former member of the management committee of the International Association of Cyclo-Cross Organizers (AIOC-Cross).
With all that, Adam is most known for being an advocate for New England cycling; one of the founding members of NEBRA, and lending his expertise and experience in advising many groups of people on many topics in the sport. He has grown to become one of the patriarchs of New England cycling: And in recognition of this and the many other contributions Adam has made to New England cycling, he was chosen for induction into the New England Bicycle Racing Hall of Fame in January of 2025.
